Tree moss resinoid is the dry timbered cousin of oakmoss: less marine, more bark, tobacco and warm resin. It can bring a handsome, almost architectural dryness to woods, leather and fougere structures.

In the organ, use it to build create dry forest bases, enrich give tobacco a lichen edge and introduce support masculine fougeres. As base note, it offers signature rather than mere theme.
A resinoid is generally obtained by solvent extraction of dry botanical matter, gums, balsams or resins. It emphasises the low, enveloping register: balsamic warmth, texture and slow diffusion.
